[new years weekend]

Yayy for awesome feathers!!
So, the first pictures are actually down at the bottom... yeah. This is Sunday the first. After brunch we went on a walk to shadow lake, it was soo much fun :) And cold! The wonderful weather left us :(

At the top of the dam. It was sooo windy up there!! Yep, W.I.N.D.Y.

Everyone except Alyssa sitting on a bench, haha. Not sure how they squished everyone on there, but they did it!

<3 shadows.
So after we came to KC we went to Cassie and Ben's new house to take some of her stuff over, and we got to see the house! It's really adorable. The new year's party was really fun, of course :) There weren't nearly as many people as there normally are, but it was still great. I got to learn a few new games, including Bang. Most of us went to bed shortly before 4am but some of us stayed up later *coughsambrecough* On Sunday the first we had brunch with the church group. Bre's dad was sick and hadn't prepared something for church but we young people just sat around and shared, then prayed. It was a really, really good time. God has blessed me with amazing friends. Then we went out to Shadow lake and ran around.. the hill to the dam was huuge, and we ran up it and then some of us (including me) rolled down it! It was soo much fun, haha. And it was suuper cold and windy up there! Anyway, that's the weekend in a nutshell.
Sometime after we got home this week we older kids and dad watched Thor. I liked it. And dad bought Captain America, haha. Sam, John, and I have all seen it away from home, so he hasn't seen it yet.

Shaina

Karie made Justin this awesome hat for christmas.. now I might have to make one for myself! Haha.

I just love this girl's smile. Even half of it. :)

Justin started climbing up here and Zachary goes, "I was gonna climb up there, but I was like, "No, that's too dangerous.. even Justin wouldn't do that!"" Hahaha. Wrongo!
I love the happiness on everyone's faces.

Ok, this is the beginning. Thursday the 29th AC and UD officially adopted J!!! We went over in the morning to help make the food for the after party, then went to the court case and came back and chowed down! It was lots of delicious Korean/Filipino food. We spent hours rolling filling into lumpia(sp?) and potstickers.

Saturday the 31st. The laaast sunset of 2012.
