[kansas wind]

This was a totally spur-of-the moment shoot. I walked outside and felt the amazing, powerful wind, and grabbed Samantha, some saftey pins, a sheet, and some makeup to run out and capture the wondeful Kansas wind. I wish it had been a little later: it was around 2 pm when we shot, pretty much the worst time of day to shoot, and we weren't able to really find any shade, but you work with what you have! I used fill flash with some of these, some of them I didn't. I did do a lot of selective brightening in post, because the white would be bright while her skin was dark. Thanks to Sami for allowing me to use her as a model :)

  2. So, I pretty much adore ALL of these. I am so glad you decided to just do this shoot randomly, because it turned out SO great. Sam is beautiful in all of these, and I think you did an awesome job despite the sunlight issues. I especially love 3, 5, and 10. The sheet worked so well, and I love the added purple ribbon. And Sam's make-up looks great!
