Everybody loves the puppies!!

So. The weekend is over. Our last guests left this morning and our next one arrives tomorrow.
If I tried to recount ALL our activities rightly, it would take forever. So I will give you a fairly long summation instead. On friday Karie, Robbie, Iris, Gabe, and Zach arrived in the late morning. It was a cool day and we spent a lot of time just running around the farm, taking Karie to see the creek, picking strawberries, and getting food on. The boys went to see the spring and we harvested lettuce, spinach, and asparagus from Grandma's garden for supper. Justin arrived that evening as we were playing Taboo. Saturday around nine AM Gregory, Andrew, and Nathaniel arrived. We took several horse back trips and many people went fishing after the rest of Zachary's family arrived around noon. I stayed home to read my Bible and AC and UD got here with J late afternoon! We got to see and talk to him the rest of the day. However it seems it was pretty stressful on the little guy even though it didn't seem so at the time. Please continue to pray for a timely bonding with AC and UD. Saturday evening we played Red Rover (a very violent game) and tag in the brome. Sunday morning we girls woke up early to go riding before church. It was a lovely ride. Church was taught on Christian fellowship, and what responsibilities we each have to the other. After church we played "amoeba tag" and got hot enough to go play in the creek! We played in there for a long time because playing keep away with a beach ball kept us moving so we didn't get cold. Afterwards we took two horseback rides. I enjoyed talking to people while riding. The second ride especially was amazing, probably my absolute favorite ride when the church has been out here. It was in the evening so it wasn't too hot. The sunset was amazing. We rode up onto the tallest hill around where the wind whipped my hair around like nobody's business. We saw the absolute vastness of the prairie and sky. It was as perfect as anything on this earth can be. Sunday evening we played mafia!! Hehe. We played late late into the night. Monday we took more horseback rides, set off Karie's rocket three times, did pepsi and mentos, and said our goodbyes. The last of the young people stayed for supper, and then Samantha and I collapsed. We slept twelve straight hours last night. And today we're trying to rest as much as possible.
The time was truly amazing. I thank God for such friends as we have.

After *several* false starts...

Off she went!!

A groupish type picture :)

Of course we had to do the pepsi and mentos!!

It wouldn't explode on its own, so Justin took matters into his own hands :)

Lots of fizz. I got splattered a tiny bit, but my camera was perfectly fine.
