These purple flowers are wildflowers called Kansas Gayfeather. They are one of my very favorite wildflowers!! Their wonderful purple tones flood the Kansas prairie in the fall. Not to mention, the Monarch butterflies love them!

This photo and the next are the same photo; I just played with the tones in this one. Which do you like better? 1)
